Travel & Tour · Kashi
Varanasi overwhelms. A stranger arrives to torn seats, an argument over the meter, a saree marked up four times, and no one to ask. We built the opposite: a chauffeured car that smells clean, a Sāthi who speaks your language, and a printed price before you say yes.
What we're fixing
Every line on the left is something a guest has told us. Every line on the right is a written commitment in your booking confirmation — enforceable, refundable, ours.
A cab with cracked seats, an unwashed floor, and a driver who negotiates after you're inside.
A sanitised luxury sedan or SUV, deep-cleaned between every guest. Fare locked at booking. Never renegotiated.
A silk saree "handmade in Varanasi" for ₹12,000 that cost ₹1,800 in the next lane.
Our partnered original Banarasi saree and silk shops, alongside Varanasi's famous local markets. Price-tagged, no commission taken. Ever.
Two hours in a darshan queue, then told you're in the wrong one.
A Sāthi beside you like family, not a guide reading a script — the correct gate, no rush, and the story of the temple explained as you walk in.
Nobody around you speaks your language, and everyone knows it.
A dedicated Sāthi who does — Japanese, French, Spanish, Hebrew, German, Bangla, Tamil, and eight more.
A hotel photographed well, three kilometres from anything, with a broken lift.
Stays we have personally slept in. Riverfront havelis to five-star. Placed for your route, not our margin.
À la carte
Tap any service to add it to your trip. Your running total appears in the builder below. No service is locked behind a package, and nothing you don't select will appear on your bill.
Mercedes E-Class, Innova Crysta, or Fortuner. Airport, station, and full-day city use. Uniformed chauffeur, chilled water, phone charging, and a driver briefed never to suggest a shop.
A trained local companion who speaks your language and stays reachable dawn to midnight. Handles priests, boatmen, shopkeepers, and anyone who tries something.
Kashi Vishwanath, Kaal Bhairav, Sankat Mochan, Annapurna. We don't just get you through the gate — we walk in beside you, explain what the temple means and why the ritual is done the way it is, and stay close the way family would, not a guide on a schedule. No fixers, no cash to anyone, no rush.
A private wooden boat from Assi to Manikarnika at first light. Cushioned, covered, silent motor. Chai and kachori aboard. Two hours, no shared strangers.
Reserved elevated seating at Dashashwamedh, or a moored boat facing the flame. You arrive at 18:15 and sit. You do not stand in a crowd for ninety minutes.
We take you to our partnered original Banarasi saree and silk shops, plus Varanasi's famous local markets for wooden toys and thandai spice. Fixed prices displayed before you enter. We take zero commission and will say so in front of the seller.
We book you into a property we've inspected this season — riverfront haveli, boutique, or five-star. Negotiated rate passed to you whole, with our fee shown separately.
Where the Buddha first taught, and the fort across the river. Full day with car, Sāthi, museum entry, and lunch at a place with a kitchen we've walked through.
Kachori sabzi, tamatar chaat, malaiyo in winter, a Banarasi paan to finish. Every kitchen inspected by us. Vegan, Jain, halal, and allergy routes available.
A private session on a rooftop above Assi at 05:40, with a teacher, not a performer. Optional Ayurvedic consultation and abhyanga massage afterwards.
Pind daan, asthi visarjan, mundan, or a private puja. A vetted pandit, correct ghat, dignified handling. We do this quietly and we do not upsell grief.
One number, day or night. Doctor on call, pharmacy runs, lost documents, flight changes, an argument you'd rather not have. Answered in under sixty seconds.
Packages
Each package is a complete trip, priced per person on twin sharing, stay excluded unless stated. Add or remove any line before you pay — our team will re-price it in writing within the hour.
2 nights · 3 days
For the pilgrim who came for the temple, not the tour.
4 nights · 5 days
The full city, without a single moment of being taken advantage of.
6 nights · 7 days
Private, unhurried, and arranged entirely around you.
The Sāthi
Sāthi means companion. Not a guide reciting dates — a local who removes every friction between you and the city, in a language you think in.
Speaks for you. With priests, boatmen, shopkeepers, and anyone who raises their voice. You never have to negotiate in a city you don't know.
Stands in the queue. Holds your footwear and phone at the temple, knows which gate is moving, and waits until you're through.
Explains the ritual. Why the temple faces this way, why the aarti is lit at this hour, what the story behind it is — told the way an elder in the family would, not recited from a script.
Refuses commission. Paid by us, on salary. Every Sāthi signs it. If any Sāthi steers you to a shop, your entire trip is refunded.
Stays reachable. WhatsApp and phone from 05:00 to midnight. After that, our night desk answers.
Knows the doctor. Which hospital, which pharmacy, which chemist is open at 2am on a Sunday.
The Fair Price Pledge
Not a marketing line. A clause in your booking. Every price you'll pay in Varanasi — silk, boat, prasad, chai — is quoted to you in writing before you agree to it. Find a lower honest price for the same thing within 48 hours and we refund double the difference, no argument.
Build a trip
Add services above and they'll appear here. This is an estimate, not an invoice — a Sāthi will confirm every line with you before anything is charged.
Airport meet-and-greet with your name. A printed itinerary. Bottled water and a phone charger in every car. A translated card with our emergency number to keep in your pocket.
Take a commission. Add a fuel surcharge. Change a driver without telling you. Route you through a shop. Ask for cash. Photograph you without asking.
Prices shown are for one adult and exclude accommodation unless the service says otherwise. Groups of six or more, multi-city routings, and ceremony bookings are quoted individually — write to us and a person, not a form, will reply.
Guests
"I had been warned about Varanasi for a year. I spent five days there and never once had to ask what something cost."
"Our Sāthi spoke Hebrew. He stood with my mother in the queue for forty minutes so I could take her photograph. I didn't ask him to."
"The saree cost ₹4,200 and the weaver told me himself. In the next lane the same one was ₹19,000. That is the whole company, really."

Leave an email. A person from our Varanasi desk replies within one working hour with availability, a written price, and the name of the Sāthi who'd be yours.
