These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Kashi & Kin website (kashiandkin.com) and any travel, tour, or related service you book with us. By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or make a booking.
Kashi & Kin Travels & Tours is a travel and tour service operating out of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. We arrange guided experiences, transport, accommodation assistance, and related services within Varanasi and surrounding areas.
A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it in writing (email or WhatsApp) and, where applicable, received the agreed advance payment. Prices shown on the website or quoted to you are per the package or service selected, in Indian Rupees (INR), and are fixed and confirmed with you before you agree to proceed — we do not add hidden charges after confirmation.
You're responsible for providing accurate details at the time of booking: names, contact information, arrival dates, number of passengers, and any special requirements (dietary, mobility, medical). Incorrect information may affect our ability to deliver the service as booked.
Payment methods accepted will be communicated at the time of booking. Where an advance or partial payment is required to confirm a booking, the balance is typically due as agreed in your booking confirmation. We do not store your card or payment details on our servers — payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
Our cancellation and refund terms are set out separately in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Some parts of your trip — hotels, boat operators, drivers, artisans, and shops — are provided by independent third parties we've personally vetted and partnered with. While we select these partners carefully and stand behind the experience, the third party is responsible for the direct delivery of their specific service (e.g., a hotel's room condition, a boat operator's vessel). We will always act as your point of contact and help resolve any issue that arises.
Regarding shopping: where we take you to Banarasi silk or craft shops, we do not take commission from these shops and do not mark up prices. Any purchase you make is a transaction directly between you and the shop.
We'll try to accommodate reasonable changes to your itinerary after booking, subject to availability. Some changes (e.g., date changes close to arrival, or changes affecting fixed-timing experiences like Aarti viewing) may not always be possible or may involve a cost difference, which we'll communicate before making the change.
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, flooding of the Ganga, government restrictions, strikes, temple closures, or other events of force majeure. Where possible, we'll help you reschedule or adjust your plans.
We take reasonable care in selecting partners and planning your trip, but travel inherently carries some risk. To the extent permitted by law, Kashi & Kin's liability for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the independent acts of third-party providers once you're aware of who is responsible for that part of the service.
All content on this website — text, photographs, and design — is either owned by Kashi & Kin or used with appropriate attribution (for example, photographs sourced from Wikimedia Commons are credited accordingly). You may not copy or reuse our original content for commercial purposes without permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your booking will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the website or a new booking after an update means you accept the revised terms.
