Family Pooja · Varanasi
A pandit-led pooja at the ghat — a blessing, a milestone, or simply gratitude for the trip — arranged in advance, with a fixed price and no pressure to add anything on the day. This is a celebratory ceremony, not an after-death or ancestral rite (for that, see Rituals & Rites).
What's included
The pandit's fee and standard ceremony materials (samagri) are included in the ₹3,299 price. Anything beyond a standard ceremony — specific rituals, additional materials — is discussed and priced with you in advance, so there's nothing added on the day without your agreement.
Timing
A day's notice is usually enough to arrange a pandit and a suitable ghat. Booking further ahead gives more flexibility on timing, especially around festival dates.
A private blessing ceremony conducted by a pandit at one of the ghats, for a family or small group — typically for a general blessing, a milestone, or gratitude, rather than an after-death or ancestral rite.
This is a celebratory or blessing ceremony. Pind daan, asthi visarjan, and other after-death or ancestral ceremonies are handled separately and with different care — see Rituals & Rites for those.
The pandit's fee and the ceremony materials (samagri) typically used for a standard family pooja. Anything beyond the standard ceremony is discussed and priced with you in advance.
A day's notice is usually enough, though booking further ahead gives more flexibility on timing and the specific ghat.
Tell us your family's tradition or any specific requirements when booking, and we'll match a pandit accordingly where possible.
